Midlands
The Midlands region covers the following counties: Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, West Midlands, Staffordshire, Northamptonshire, Rutland, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
This pages of the IOCA website is designed to:
- Keep you updated with news of open racing, coaching and training events in the Midlands area.
- Signpost you to sailing clubs in the region with Optimist fleets
- Encourage Optimist sailors, of all ages, to join in, whatever level your level of sailing experience.
The Midlands region enjoys the support of a number of excellent sailing clubs and we are building our Optimist fleet! We have a good schedule planned for 2024 with something to support everyone, so if you're new to sailing and want to get involved reach out and we will help to get you started. We would love to welcome you into the IOCA Midlands Family!
Some of you may be new to the Optimist, but do come along to one of the coaching or open events anyway and join in the fun, meet new people and make some new friends!
